It’s 100 degrees here today.
I have no specific memory of seeing a red-winged blackbird before this year. This year I’ve seen three. Isn’t that weird when you notice something like that?
They’re selling Totino’s Pizza Rolls with a rerecording of Kim Wilde’s “Kids in America.” That was such a seminal pop song for me. What a shame.
I feel just terrible about Lindsay Lohan’s upcoming incarceration. If it pleases the court, I’d be more than happy to chain her to my study wall for 90 days and, you know, make her beg for cigarettes or something. Hey, I’m just trying to give back. That’s what I do. It never once crossed my mind that such would be continuous overload for my skank fetish.
The Indy Racing League has already decided to open up the formula to multiple engine manufacturers and configurations in 2012. I’m excited about that. They may do the same thing with the chassis next week, which would absolutely delight me. I think that’s a fast track to the old glory days. Do it, IRL!
I’ve mostly made peace with phone menus, but I still can’t stand the voice-based ones that attempt to simulate a conversation. It’s the fake sing-songy tone that grates, I think. “Okay, great! Now, let me get your telephone number, area code first!” Also, why is it always a perky woman? Isn’t there a lawsuit on this yet?
Finally get to meet my niece Rebecca in a couple of weeks!
