Can we reshoot the last 36 hours, please?

  • We’re still enjoying the benefits of having the front door open for 30 minutes Saturday night to help clear out all of the smoke (see previous post).  I killed six flies today.
  • Upper respiratory nonsense continues—congestion, pressure, pain, drip, and so forth.  I think I’ve measured some improvement this afternoon.  I hope it’s gone tomorrow.  Antihistamine-induced sleep is only so satisfying.
  • When Lea was helping her sister in Pulaski yesterday, someone’s utility trailer came unattached from its hitch, ran up onto the sidewalk, and took out the entire passenger side of Lea’s (unoccupied) minivan.  Was he insured?  HA!  That’s hilarious!  Tell us another one, Uncle Joe!  She’s out getting an estimate now.
  • I’m ready for some drier air.

  1. I’ve been involved in accidents two times in my life where I wasn’t at fault. Both times the other person did NOT have insurance. It happens way to frequently for it to be bad luck. I’ve decided that bad drivers are just more apt to be involved in accidents and also more apt to not be abiding by the law requiring insurance. Hope your rates don’t jump!
